After an entertaining draw in Paramaribo on Saturday night, will there be a winner as these two teams reconvene in Kingston.

On matchday one, Jamaica looked set to kick off their Nations League campaign with a win, taking the lead through Junior Flemmings.

However, Suriname managed to hold them to a 1-1 draw, courtesy of Amal Knight’s unfortunate own goal just six minutes from time.

As these two meet again, will there be a winner this time?

Jamaica are competing in the Nations League’s top-tier for the first time, winning promotion after accruing 16 points from six matches in 2019.

In recent years, the Reggae Boyz have established themsleves as one of the strongest teams in the CONCACAF region.

They reached back-to-back Gold Cup Finals in 2015 and 2017, getting to the Octagonal round of World Cup qualifying, finishing sixth.

Suriname meanwhile also won promotion from League B three years ago; their only Nations League defeat to date coming against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

This saw Stanley Menzo’s side qualify for the most recent Gold Cup, ending their 36-year absence from the tournament.

Here, with Mexico completing the trio of teams in Group A, the losers are highly likely to be relegated back to the second division.

Will Jamaica make home advantage count at Independence Park?

Grenada vs El Salvador

Just three days on from their clash at Estadio Cuscatlán, these two teams meet again.

On Saturday night, just four minutes in, it was already 1-1; Nelson Bonilla opening the scoring, before Alexander McQueen provided the instant response.

Nevertheless, Bonilla restored El Salvador’s lead, with a second half own goal from A. J. Paterson securing the host’s 3-1 win.

La Selecta won promotion to League A during the first iteration of the Nations League, winning five of six second-tier matches.

Meanwhile, La Azul y Blanco have qualified for each of the last eight Gold Cups and reached the Octagonal round of World Cup qualifying.

All in all, El Salvador are one of the strongest sides in the CONCACAF region, so will they all but secure League A survival with another win here?

Grenada meantime are also a newly-promoted team, accumulating 14 pointes from six League B matches in 2019.

This saw the Spice Boys qualify for the most recent edition of the Gold Cup, ending their decade-long exile from the competition.

Given that holders the U.S. complete Group D, defeat here would pretty much send Michael Findlay’s side straight back down to League B.

Will Grenada claim a massive victory at Kirani James Athletic Stadium.

Guyana vs Bermuda

After making a positive start to this Nations League season, can Guyana make it two wins out of two?

On Saturday night, the Golden Jaguars came from behind to beat Montserrat 2-1 in Santo Domingo.

Omari Glasgow’s quick-fire brace at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez securing the three points for his team.

Guyana finished second in their League B group back in 2019 having appeared at their first-ever Gold Cup earlier that year.

Now, Jamaal Shabazz’s side are looking to win promotion to League A, thereby qualifying for Gold Cup 2023 in the process.

Bermuda meanwhile played out a bore goalless draw with Haiti in Devonshire Parish on matchday one.

The Gombey Warriors were relegated from the first division of the Nations League in 2019, so were seeking immediate promotion.

However, in a very competitive group, this might prove to be beyond Kyle Lightbourne’s team.

Who will claim three important points at the National Track and Field Centre in Leonora?

Haiti vs Montserrat

After starting their campaigns with disappointing results, who will bounce back in Santo Domingo?

On Saturday night, Haiti were held to a goalless draw by Bermuda in Devonshire Parish.

The Grenadiers are still yet to win a Nations League game having been relegated from League A with three draws to their name in 2019.

Nevertheless, having qualified for six of the last eight Gold Cups, reaching the semi-finals in 2019, Haiti believe they belong in the top-tier.

So, will the Red and Blues get their promotion push up and running with a victory here?

Montserrat meanwhile are currently bottom of this group after being beaten 2-1 by Guyana on matchday one.

Adrian Clifton, who plays his club football for Boreham Wood, actually gave his side a shock lead, only for the Golden Jaguars to fight back.

The Emerald Boys, in truth, are just looking to survive at League B level, just as they did in the Nations League’s first instalment.

Thus, Willie Donachie’s team are big underdogs in this one, with Haiti likely to win at Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez.
