Erik ten Hag could help Manchester United land Inter Milan right Denzel Dumfries, according to reports.
Dumfries rose to the top of the European game after a successful Euro 2020 campaign.
Dumfries lined out for the Netherlands at the most recent European Championships and caught the eye with his marauding runs down the right from a wing-back role.
His displays at Euro 2020 would then earn him plenty of attention in the 2021 summer transfer window, in which he made the move from PSV to Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old has since continued to impress with Inter, notching five goals and five assists in 33 league ties.
Now, in the latest few weeks, Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the right-back.
The Daily Mail report that Manchester United are interested in the Dutchman, and would like to buy him to offer a new threat for Erik ten Hag. Dumfries has a valuation of around €30m (£26m).
It is added that Dumfries would prefer to stay at Inter or go to Manchester United, with it thought that the presence of Ten Hag would help him adapt to the Premier League.

Should Dumfries indeed make the switch to Old Trafford, he would, on paper, provide an upgrade in their right-back department.
Diogo Dalot is still young and impressed during spells last season when Ralf Rangnick was in charge. The Portuguese’s agent also confirmed to 101 recently that Dalot is very happy at Manchester United and they are expecting him to remain at the club next season.
However, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has struggled to prove his worth in Manchester and his lack of attacking prowess could see him shipped out to make room for someone like Dumfries.
