Tottenham add Newcastle attacker to summer transfer wishlist | 101 Great Goals

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a summer swoop for a key member of the frontline of Premier League rivals Newcastle United, according to reports.

The player in question? Allan Saint-Maximin.

Spurs, of course, are widely understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the attacking third ahead of next season.

This comes with the Lilywhites, under the watch of Antonio Conte, remaining heavily dependent on first-choice front-three Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League next time out.

To this point, in turn, a whole host of stars from across the continent have been tipped to make the move to north London, including Darwin Nunez, Filip Kostic and more.

And now, as alluded to above, a fresh name has been added to the list.

As per a report from the reliable Alasdair Gold of, Spurs are ‘weighing up’ a move for Newcastle United wide-man Allan Saint-Maximin.

Lilywhites chief Fabio Paratici is understood to be a keen admirer of ASM’s talents, of the opinion that he would add something of a wildcard option to the club’s attack.

A summer offer for the Frenchman, as a result, is being taken into consideration, with recent free agent addition Ivan Perisic expected to take up a place at left-wing back under Conte, rather than as part of the Italian’s front-three.

Such speculation of course comes with Steven Bergwijn inching ever closer to the exit door in the English capital, amid mounting interest in his signature on the part of Dutch giants Ajax.
