Watch: Leeds talent Summerville stakes first-team claim with U23s hat-trick

Footage of Leeds United starlet Crysencio Summerville showcasing his goalscoring talents during an outing for the club’s U23s has piqued attentions across the Whites’ fanbase on Monday night.

Regular viewers of Leeds will of course be familiar with the name of youngster Summerville.

This comes with the Dutch youth international having been afforded a regular spot in the club’s first-team setup by now-former boss Marcelo Bielsa, on his way to eight appearances across the opening half of the campaign.

And now, as alluded to above, a series of videos showcasing precisely why Summerville was held in such high regard by Bielsa, have come to the fore online.

The talented attacker was utilised from the off earlier this evening, as Leeds’ U23 outfit welcomed their Crystal Palace counterparts to Elland Road for a Premier League 2 clash.

Andrew Taylor’s hosts headed into proceedings no doubt desperate for all three points, sitting third from bottom in the PL2 table with just six wins to their name all season.

Monday night, though, saw Leeds’ latest crop of up-and-coming talent provide a reminder of their true abilities.

A fine display ultimately culminated in the Yorkshire outfit emerging on the right side of a 4-0 scoreline, to climb clear of both Blackburn and Everton into 10th.

And, as alluded to above, it was that man Summerville who stole the show.

The 20-year-old bagged both the game’s opener and 2nd courtesy of sumptuous bending strikes off either foot, before capping off a wonderful individual showing with a hat-trick-clinching 3rd late on.
